About

Childbirth changes things. You don’t have to just live with it.

Before I dedicated my practice to cosmetic gynecology in 2003, I spent nearly a decade as a general OB-GYN in San Antonio. I know how much a woman’s body goes through in childbirth, and how rarely the changes afterward get talked about: a looser feeling, less sensation, a tear that never healed right, leaking when you sneeze.

Many women are told this is just part of having children. It doesn’t have to be. Vaginoplasty tightens the vaginal canal and repairs the muscles underneath, and I often combine it with perineoplasty to rebuild the vaginal opening. I also help women whose earlier surgery, done elsewhere, left them with scarring or pain.

I’ve performed more than 6,000 vaginal tightening and rejuvenation surgeries, and I teach these techniques to other surgeons. But the most important part happens before surgery.

I spend at least two hours with you, explain every option and its risks, and never push you to decide that day. Choosing a surgeon for something this personal is a big decision, so take your time, do your research, and compare. I’m comfortable with that. If surgery isn’t the right answer for you, I’ll tell you.

You can see before-and-after photos on my website, on my vaginal rejuvenation and perineoplasty pages.

I perform every surgery myself. On the evening of your surgery, I’ll call to check on you, and I’ll see you in my office the next day. Every patient gets my personal cell phone number, so you can reach me whenever you need me.

My staff is just as committed to you as I am, and they’ll guide you through financing, scheduling, and every follow-up visit.

Warmly,

Dr. Hailparn

Reviews

WebMD

“I picked her because she’s done 9,000 of these procedures. I didn’t want someone learning on me. After the surgery, she called me in the evening to follow up and then I saw her the very next day in the office.”

“Dr. Hailparn is not only highly skilled and professional, but she also has an incredibly warm and likeable personality that immediately puts you at ease. After giving birth, I had a tear. It definitely impacted my confidence and comfort. Eight years later, I finally took a chance with having it looked at. She helped me feel like myself again.”

“I went to three different consultations, and the difference between Dr. Troy Hailparn and the others wasn’t even close. I felt so comfortable with her that when I got home, I actually double-checked her credentials to make sure I wasn’t just being swayed by how warm and genuine she is.”
